This book is simply the worst foreign language book I ever bought. There are minimal to no Ukrainian pronunciation guides with this book. It is more of a refresher book for an advanced Ukrainian speaker. Just a horrible approach to teaching a language to a beginning audience. It has nothing to do with the Cyrillic alphabet. It is all about how poorly structured the book is and the total lack of pronunciation guides.
Excellent reference for forming a concrete base in for learning and improving your Ukrainian. This was an easy read. I would recommend this book to anyone. This book is good for people at the beginner or intermediate level of Ukrainian.

very good for the beginner the first text does not show the accent and this is very important in spoken Ukrainian the second text is much better but would recommend getting them both together
